Mrs. Alice Hunn Hunn Flaherty

A visitation service is planned for Friday, April 15th from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary in Henderson, NV.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Henderson, NV. with a burial service directly following at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary in Henderson, NV.

She was born July 31, 1937, in Springfield, Illinois to Paul & Lily Hunn.

Alice's father passed away when she was very young so she was raised by her mother Lily and had three sisters at home. She graduated in 1955 from Sacred Heart Academy. After graduation, she met her husband John and they lived for a few years in Washington DC then settled in Galesburg, Illinois where Alice raised her family. In the 1980's Alice moved to Henderson, Nevada when her husband John was offered the opportunity to open up the Western Division for Dick Blick West. Alice loved living in Henderson with the warm sunny weather where she could enjoy the outdoors and her beloved swimming pool. Alice and John spent many happy years in Henderson and made some wonderful friends.

Her interests included family, cooking and politics.

Alice is survived by her sister's Paula, Mitzie and Margie; 2 sons John & Kevin and their spouses Tiffany & Shary; 1 daughter Amy; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas, William, Tess, Sean Patrick, Alexis & Hanna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Flaherty.
