William Arthur Welty

William Arthur Welty, age 95, of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. William was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was the son of the late William Albert Welty and the late Annie Belle (Wallace) Welty. William was a welder for over 28 years. He served in the National Guard from 1945 to 1947. He was an avid golfer. William was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Norma Welty.

He is survived by his children Sheri Rice, Karen Rice, Gary Welty, Joni Rice, Shirley Van Nostrand and Keith Asbell 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life for William will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 3:00 PM at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N San Jacinto St., Hemet, CA 92543.
