It is with love and sadness that we send our father to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. On Friday, August 24, 2012 William E. Moore passed away in San Jacinto CA. Bill was born on April 27,1930 to William and Mary Moore in Illinois. Bill joined the Army as an enlisted man and moved up through the ranks to became a 1st Lieutenant of his division. Bill was in charge of training troops how to use their weapons and a tank instructor during his time in the Army. After his time in the Army, Bill became owner and operator of a Chevron Station in San Diego, Ca. In 1968 he sold his station and moved his family to Hemet where he where he owned and operated the Chevron on Palm & Florida. He and his wife Ruth, who passed several years ago, enjoyed traveling with their kids, Sunday drives together, and participating in the local Elks Club. William also enjoyed ballroom dancing, reading the paper and watching the San Diego Chargers play ball. He was known as "sweet William" to his friends and family because of his kindness toward others. William is proceeded in death by his wife Ruth. He is survived by his 3 children Sharon Steele, Stephen Moore and Diana Urquhart, His brother Wayne Moore, nephew Butch Moore, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his friend and companion, Margaret Stuart
