Vickie Jean Stalker

Vickie Jean Stalker, 68 of Riverside, California passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at The Springs Health & Rehab Center in Murrieta, California. She was born Sunday, June 22, 1952 to the late Ralph Siegmund and the late Emma Siegmund. Vickie was born and raised in Hacienda Heights, California and graduated from Wilson High School in 1970. She married shortly after graduation and was blessed to have been able to stay at home raising her three beautiful children. She was very involved in her children’s lives and activities and spent much of her time volunteering as Home Room Mom, PTA, Ways Recreational Soccer League, Girls Scouts, Dance Booster, and was the “Taxi” mom for not only her own children but for all of the kids that needed rides as well. Later in life she enjoyed volunteering for Loma Linda Hospital where she loved being a “Baby Snuggler” in the Pediatric Labor and Delivery unit as well as the “Children’s Play Room”. Vickie was very artistic and enjoyed doing crafts, ceramics, sewing, going to the casinos, beach, especially traveling to Hawaii. With a loving heart of gold, she cared for both of her parents as they entered into their senior years and needed full time care. She loved to laugh, was strong willed and braver than most as she was a survivor. Vickie’s love for others and always putting others before herself was one her greatest gifts to those who knew her and loved her dearly. Her grandchildren were the icing on her cake of life! She will be missed but will always be in the hearts of her family and friends. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Emma Siegmund, sister, Bernetia, and leaves behind her daughters, Bernetia Johnson (Michael), Tesha Rosenwinkel (Larry), Son, Douglas Stalker (Buffy), Brother, Ralph Siegmund (Wanda), Nephew, Brett Siegmund, and amazing grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremy, Matthew, Emily, Douglas, Mikkel, and Christopher.
