Sara was well-liked and had a great sense of humor. She was very family-oriented. There are many people she took in as her own whom still refer to her as mom and grandma. She loved music and passed that passion on to her family. She listened to country music (she really enjoyed Johnny Cash), Spanish music and especially Worship Music. She sang and played piano, guitar and bass. She was known to 'jam' with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sara was also an amazing cook. Her family recalls the holidays at her home being memorable. Sara kept busy gardening and loved her pets, especially her dog 'Dottie'. She was always rearranging her furniture in her home as well. She wished God's blessings to all she came in contact with and would tease her family members saying "you don't know nothin". Sara has been a member at Spiritlife Church in Perris for over 20 years and has lived in Perris for the last 34 years.
Sara is survived by her 8 children; Laurie Estrada, Gloria (Paul ) Estrada, Theresa Wallace, Steve Snyder, Ben Cortez, Joyce Ferrer, Ricky Cortez, and Meno Cortez; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
There will be a time of visitation Monday, February 20, 2012 from 3-4PM at Spiritlife Church, 57 Business Park Dr, Perris, CA 92571. The Funeral Service will follow at the same location at 4PM. Please remember Sara with a donation to Spiritlife Church.
