Rosa Maria Perez passed away on June 13, 2022 in Murrieta, California. Rosa was born on January 2, 1950 in Guadalajara, Mexico to her parents, Andres Galvan Magana and Maria Espinoza. Rosa Maria’s hobbies include crocheting and making some of her own clothes. Her hobbies included gardening which led her to first job at the nursery to help her father invest and provide for a large family of seven altogether, including herself. Working at the nursery gave her much rewards because it led her to meet the love of her life through a mutual friend which she made at the nursery. Rosa went on to marry the love of her life, Jose Ortega Perez on July 7, 1973. Together, Rosa and Jose had three children. Rosa was a devoted wife and a loving mother who loved Christ and the Virgin Mary and was happy to see that her children went on to follow her footsteps by being Christ followers and demonstrating always the love of Christ to others whether through loving actions such as babysitting for family or by giving kind words of encouragement, while constantly reminding them to never give into the evilness of greed. In fact, her father appointed Rosa as power of attorney over all his assets and business affairs because of her good moral character, and often referred to Rosa as “his right hand.” Rosa Maria was an amazing homemaker for almost 50 years because she was completely a devoted wife to her husband and mother to her children. Moreover, Rosa enjoyed baking, making delicious tamales to share with her friends and family. Rosa loved being at home because she loved spending time with her family, with one of her favorite pastimes being enjoying a daily good novela to watch together as a family, as well as enjoying a delicious pastry (chocoflans and jello cakes) together during birthdays. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Jose Perez, her three biological children, Javier Galvan Perez, Elena Guadalupe Perez, Veronica Maria Perez, and her adopted son Felipe Garay Espinoza whom they want to thank for being an enormous financial blessing to give Rosa a beautiful service and burial she well deserved. Rosa is also survived by her furbabies Gorda, Chiquis, and Toby, and her devoted friend Margarita Chapa since childhood who was more like a sister. Rosa was superseded in death by her siblings who passed away a couple years ago: Andres Galvan Espinoza, Rita Maria Galvan Espinoza, and Luz Maria Galvan Espinoza. Services will consist of visitation on June 29, 2022 from 4-8PM with Rosary at 6PM at Hemet Miller-Jones Mortuary Chapel (Florida/Lyon). The church service will be at 10am on June 30, 2022 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in San Jacinto (Santa Fe St). Funeral service will follow right after church at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery (San Jacinto Avenue).
