Ronald Jacobsen, 53, died March 3, 2011 in his home in Hemet, California.A memorial service will be held graveside in San Pedro, California at Green Hills Memorial Park.Ron was born October 28th 1958 in Torrance, California in Riviera Memorial Hospital were he was adopted by his loving Father and Mother Dwaine Arthur Jacobsen and Donna Carlson Jacobsen and brought home at two days old. His father worked in construction and his mother was a homemaker.At a young age Ronald was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, in the Redondo 3rd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were he attained the rank of Life Scott.Ronald spent summers enjoying fishing, hiking, swimming and any activities that pertained to the outdoors.As Ron grew in to adult hood he used his love for the outdoors and went to work in the Oil Exploration field where he spent his working hours in helicopters going from mountain range to range in Northern California, Utah, and Wyoming.Ron's cat of 19 years, Panther, preceded him by 6 days so he would be with all those who were waiting to great Ron as he went from this life to the next.
Ronald is survived by his mother Donna C Jacobsen of Hemet, a sister, Christina Warner of Hemet, two Nephews John Warner and Robert Bonecutter both of Branson Missouri. He also has four great nieces and two great nephews.Ronald's life was cut short by Cancer, but he stayed positive to the end, still being courageous and hopeful reminding us of the preciousness of life.
