Richard was born on April 3, 1954 in Juárez, Mexico to Maria and Antonio Vasquez.
He met the love of his life, Brenda Kelly, and eventually married her in 1985. Over time, the couple welcomed 2 children into their home. He moved to Perris with his new family and Richard began working for Behr as a welder and fabricator in Santa Ana. He worked exceptionally hard, dedicating his life to supporting his family. Richard was exceptionally good at building and fixing things; he would use his ingenuity to come up with solutions for every problem he encountered. He was a compassionate individual who loved his family more than anything and always strived to be the best person he could be.
His children remember him as a hero—selfless, tenacious, benevolent, hardworking, charismatic and so much more. They believe that purest soul resided within him and it radiated and shined on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
