Richard James Giffin was born in Brea, CA on August 27, 1960. He was an athlete from the moment he could walk. He played Pop Warner football as a child that led him into his older years in high school and 2 years of college. He was an All-State Champion wrestler for his high school and a scholar. He was one of the hardest workers when it came to his occupation. He worked for a Alfa Beta as a meat cutter, a supervisor for Supreme Truck Bodies in Fontana, then finished his years being a Masonry by pouring concrete. He built most of the homes on the water in Canyon Lake, CA, built the middle school in Lake Havasu City, the first movie theater there as well and much more. He was a football coach to almost all the kids in the Hemet - San Jacinto Valley for 12 years and coached softball. He left such a huge impact on children’s lives and so did they, he would not be the man he was today without them. He has 5 beautiful children; Sean, Travis, Shelby, Shelly, and Hailey. He has 6 grandchildren; Hailey, Strummer, Bella, Delilah, Seana and Pearl. His beautiful wife Sherri who he spent 32 wonderful years together and they meant the world to each other. Richard was a man of wisdom, truth, love, kindness, and care; always the first one to ask who needs help or what can I do to help. He is loved and missed by so many but it was his time to finally be pain free. Rest in Paradise Dad, we love you.
