November 8, 1941 - February 9, 2017
Raymond passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of February 9, 2017. He will be dearly missed and remembered with love by all those who knew him.
Ray spent most of his working career in the computer field. He started as a programmer and moved on to systems analyst, sales and education. After a career in real estate he combined this knowledge along with his computer background to maintain the computer systems for several Coldwell Banker offices. He often said he worked beyond his retirement age because he liked his job and the people he worked with.
He also had a lifelong love of sports beginning with childhood trips to Wrigley Field in the summer to watch the Chicago Cubs and in the fall to cheer for the Bears. After moving to California he became a San Diego Padre Fan and also a Charger fan, but always kept a close eye on his favorite Chicago teams.
Equaling his love of sports was his love of travel, especially cruising. He looked forward to the adventure he found in each new port of call and visiting a port for a second time was like meeting up with an old friend.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Charles and his brother Donald. He is survived by his Mother Elsie of Chicago and his wife of 51 years, Judy. He is also survived by his daughter Suzanne Foley (Kenneth) and son Timothy (Leticia), his sisters Janis Rosch and Beverley Krohn (Paul) and his brother Patrick (Martha). He was the proud Grandfather of Raymond, Matthew, Mia and Cameron. He is also survived my many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon, Wednesday March 15, 2017 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Temecula, Ca.
