Raymond Alan Crosby Sr. passed away at the age of 93, on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Banning, California. He was born Thursday, July 18, 1929, in Olean, New York, to Ivan Crosby and Dorothy (Walker) Crosby.
Raymond proudly served his country in the US Navy for 20 years. He served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Raymond was also an amazing husband and dedicated father. He was married to the love of his life, his best friend, Margaret Crosby, for 60 wonderful years, before her passing in 2013. They were blessed with four children that would later make Raymond a grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather as well. In his spare time, he enjoyed projects around the house and woodworking. He enjoyed the outdoors, such as camping and fishing. Ramond was hardworking, strong, and an unforgettable man who served as a pillar of strength for others. His love for his family was beyond measure and he will forever be loved and missed.
Raymond is survived by his loving children, Linda Buccella, Jack Crosby, Raymond A. Crosby Jr, and Nancy M. Tallick; 7 caring grandchildren; 4 wonderful great-grandchildren; and 2 adoring great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 10:45 AM, at Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California.
