Paul Richard Lang, age 82, born September 5, 1929 passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2011. He was born in Detroit, Michigan. He served in the ROTC, and in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Paul retired from the US Postal Service in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. He was also a member of the VFW. Paul loved to cook, read, travel and spend time with his family.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Doris M. Lang, one son William (Renae) Lang of Gainesville, Florida and 5 step children Steven (Rose) Pingatore of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Cathy (John) Elliott of Cathedral City, California, Sandra (Lester) McMurphy of Roseville, Michigan, Joseph Pingatore of Eugene, Oregon and Todd (Karen) Pingatore of Fountain, Colorado, 13 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers Bill Lang of The Villages, Florida, Ray Lang, of The Villages, Florida, Jack Lang of Livonia, Michigan, and Sister Sabina Ronewicz of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joseph, and James Lang.
