Patricia Lorene Archer, 93, of Sterling, CO passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024. Patricia was born September 4, 1930 in Hickman Mills, MO to Leo and Eugena (Rosner) Fanning. She graduated from St. Joseph’s in Shawnee, KS. She married William G. Archer on July 22,1950 and moved to California in 1959. Patricia was a key-punch operator and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, many outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Archer, her parents, Mom and Pop Fanning, and her siblings: Mary Jean Nunick (Art Nunick), Martha (Mert) Hauser (Patrick Hauser), Rita Sommers (Arnie Sommer), Vincent (Joe) Fanning, and brother-in-law Frank Mackey.
She is survived by her son, Gregory William Archer (Charlene) of Merino, CO; four siblings, Virginia (Mackey) of Olathe, KS, Florence (Campbell), Jim Fanning, and Jerry Fanning of Shawnee, KS; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, located at 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, California, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Following a graveside service at Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California at 11:30 AM.
