The Traveler
Nina wanted to visit Europe before she was too old to enjoy it, as she put it. How she convinced her dear husband, Alex, is a mystery, but he agreed. At age 40, with 4 young children in tow, the family went off to England to live for several months, traveled through France, Austria, Italy and finally to Jugoslavia, where Alex's paternal family lived. She sold off the family home and much of it's contents to finance this fantastic vacation and had to start all over when the family returned.
