Mounira “Gabby” Gebran Korban was born in Lebanon on July 29, 1939. Mounira was one of five children. She spent the majority of her life in California but continued to help her family in Lebanon. Mounira was an Ethics teacher and lived her life spreading kindness and joy to all. Gabby never failed to leave a mark in each and every person she encountered. She was very active in her church always working hard to manifest her love and faith in her Christianity.
Mounira “Gabby” Gebran Korban passed away on March 4, 2022 at Inland Valley Medical Center, Wildomar, California. She leaves behind her husband, Dr. Fouad Salama, her stepsons, Christian Salama and Dr. Peter Salama and her stepdaughter, Sara Salama, nephews; Ziad, Tina, Pauline, Rita, Christian, Richard and Henry and many other family members and friends that will always treasure the memories they shared. Mounira is preceded in death by her sister, Therese Maalouf and brothers; Michel and Robert Mounir.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to her church, St. Thomas The Hermit Coptic Orthodox Church at P.O Box 892473 Temecula, CA 92589 or given in person after the services are completed.
