Michael Paul

Michael Paul, 60 from San Jacinto, CA died July 9, 2020 after a long courageous battle of cancer. He was born Friday, September 18, 1959 in Oildale, CA to his late father and mother, Leo and Joyce Paul. He spent is youth growing up in Porterville CA where he graduated from Porterville High School in 1977. He was a long-time resident of San Jacinto CA. He was loved and respected throughout the San Jacinto Valley.

Michael worked as a superintendent at Valley Wide Recreation and Park District for thirty-two years. He was actively involved in building and designing the programs that include numerous sports activities for the youth in the area. In addition to his career at Valley-Wide, he worked as a coach for San Jacinto High School which allowed him to have friendships that spanned five generations and continued until his death. Those who knew and worked with him respected him and considered him a close friend.

Michael had many great loves in his life which include cooking, traveling, movies, concerts, Las Vegas and surprising those he loved with those gifts. Michael had a philanthropist heart and found giving was his greatest enjoyment. He ensured no one went without which includes writing 400 letters as Santa Claus to Children.

Michael was a great listener and helped people until the day he died. No matter the situation, if he was aware, he was there to help. He will be missed by his family, friends and the entire community.

Michael is survived by his sister Diana Lujan and her spouse Hamid Aghad, of San Jacinto and his brother Tim Paul and his wife Cathy Paul of Knoxville, TN. He was residing with his nieces Mandy Lujan, Andrea Lujan and cousin Angela Noel. He is also survived by his Aunt, Uncle, nieces, nephews, many cousins, great-nieces and nephews – all who loved and adored him.
