Born Thursday, April 22, 1937 in Clovis , New Mexico, he was the son of the late LeRoy Forbes and the late Dorothy Stovall Forbes.
Michael was a production controller in the electronics manufacturing industry for over 30 years and he also served proudly in the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal.
Michael was very active in his church and assisted with ministering to the elderly. He enjoyed collecting movies as well as going to the movie theatre, and decorating for the holidays.
One of his favorite things to do with his boys was to role play, and to play games. He loved spending time with his family and to babysit his grandchildren.
Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Forbes, sons, Steven Forbes , Jeffrey Forbes and Daniel Forbes , brother, Keith Forbes, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
