Mayra Lopez Santoyo

Mayra was born in Mexico on December 30, 1980, to her loving parents; Pedro y Bernarda Lopez Santoyo. Mayra is part of a large, loving family but her life became whole when she met the love of her life, her loving husband; Carlos Hernandez and even more joy was in store for Mayra when her husband and her were blessed with their five adorable children; Stephanie, Johnathan, Cindy, Santiago and Natalie.

Mayra was a super courageous person, nothing ever seemed impossible for her. Mayra would always tell her family that no matter how hard something seemed, everything was always possible. Nothing was ever dark for her. Mayra loved helping others, anyone who needed help she was always there lending a hand. Mayra loved listening to all types of music, she loved the outdoors and was always ready for a new adventure. If you told her you wanted to do something, she was the first one to say let's go.

Mayra loved all types of foods but ceviche was always the one dish she enjoyed making anytime of the year. She was a happy person with high spirits regardless of the circumstances

Mayra passed away after her courageous battle with cancer. Mayra passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 8, 2020. She leaves behind many broken hearts but because she gave an abundance of love, enough to last a lifetime, Mayra left in peace. Mayra knew her love would sustain her family when they grow sad and in need of her smile. Mayra shared many beautiful times and memories with all that were fortunate enough to have crossed her path. These memories will always be held close to the hearts of her family and friends. "Be Thankful For This Day" was Mayra's motto, and her family will live on with her words always in mind.
