Maria Cecilia Lemos

Maria Cecilia Lemos, age 70, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Monday, February 24, 2014, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Tuesday, December 7, 1943 in Quito, Ecuador to the late Galo Gabela and the late Maria (Padilla) Gabela. She was the loving wife of Luis Lemos for over 50 years. Maria enjoyed her time getting her hair and nails done, shopping and the occasional visit to Las Vegas to play the slot machines. Her greatest joy was watching after her grandchildren; family was most important to her. She will forever be loved, but greatly missed.

Those left to mourn her passing, but cherish her memory is her loving husband, Luis Lemos; daughter, Veronica Vallejos; three grandchildren; sisters, Lourdes M Logudice and Pieda C. Almazon; brothers, Jamie A Gabela, Galo Patricio Gabela and Francisco E. Gabela. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Galo and Maria Gabela; one sister and one brother.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014. Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm. Funeral service will be at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014.
