Margaret also known as Aunt Margaret,Pickles, Mother, and GG was born February 6, 1930 in Evansville Indiana to loving parents Horace & Elizabeth Gee. She was one of 6 siblings, and in 91 years be apart of The Great Depression, Indiana Drought, Civil Rights movement & seeing the 1st African American president, which she was incredibly proud of.
Known to her Indy family for her long red hair, sharp wit, and sneaking off at Sunday school to go dance, it was clear she would learn to dance her way through life's changing tempo. Marrying at 18 to Robert Lunsford, & living her own Tina Turner story, they would bring into the world a beautiful babygirl named Evelyn.
From traveling the globe with her Golden Girls, always dancing and her love for all things Vegas, one thing was for sure you knew when she walked in a room. Margaret fell in love to the love of her life Donald, who would call her his "Jewel" & although their union would change, her love for him would never.
Margaret always held a special place in her for her grandkids, great grandkids, and great greats, she helped raise Carmen, Ladon & Vanity. She would dedicate her entire life to their happiness & well being. ( Even if that meant pulling out her gun or box cutter to threaten people to be kind to them). She loved Family Feud, all things fried, glam and plants. She will be missed forever.
She is survived by a host of nephews, nieces and family in Indiana, and her grandchildren . She now rests with her 6 siblings, daughter Evelyn, granddaughter Carmen and parents and best friends. Waiting to dance her way to Heaven.
