Mark Whitworth, 91, of Hemet, California, passed away on December 10, 2023. He was born Marcus Delano Whitworth on November 11, 1932, in Girard, Illinois. Mark, as he preferred to be called, was a beloved member of whatever community he lived in.
Mark led a long and fulfilling life. He had a successful 30 year career with JCPenney. He also served 4 years in the Army during the war in Korea.
He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature and witty sense of humor. He was intelligent, a gifted speaker, strong leader and possessed a beautiful baritone voice. He touched the lives of many with his generosity.
He found forgiveness of sin through Christ his Savior and finished the race well and peacefully. He is now present with the Lord.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
