Lois Geraldine Maupin

The only child of Louis and Margaret Taylor, Jeri was raised in Woodlawn, Maryland until age 16 when she attended the School of Nursing at Maryland General Hospital from 1946 – 1949.

In addition to a long career in healthcare, Jeri was the mother of six: David J.(deceased), Barbara Y. & husband, Ronald J., Cynthia A., Douglas A., Stephen D. & wife, Margie, and Gregory C.

She was grandmother to Ryan, Kimberly, Jenna, Jeff and Linda. Jeri was great-grandmother to Sennette, Reichen, Trinity, Anna, June and Raymond.

In addition to working and raising her children, she continued her education, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Redlands in1976.

After retiring, Jeri was an enthusiastic volunteer, lending her talents to animal rescue groups, local schools, the Orange County Employees Retirement Group and Menifee Hospital. She enjoyed live theater, international travel, dining out with friends and family, reading and the company of many beloved four-legged companions.

We will be celebrating her life on March 26, 2022, with a viewing at 10a.m., followed by the service at 11a.m.

Remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends and family. Some of her favorite charities included Guide Dogs for the Blind Inc., Ramona Humane Society and Living Free Animal Sanctuary.
