Mr. Lloyd Dodge was born in Hartford, Arkansas. He lived in and around Riverside County and Hemet, California for 68 years.
Lloyd served in the U.S. Army 91st Division during World War II, 361 Regiment, 3rd Battalion C Company, 1942 through 1946. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, two Bronze stars, the Good Conduct medal and Infantry Combat badge. He had two battlefield promotions to Technical Sergeant. Lloyd was very proud of his service to his Country.
Lloyd was also very proud of his 25 years as a member of Local Union 1184.
He leaves one surviving sister, Doris Shine who resides in Utah with her husband, Jack. Lloyd also will be remembered by his over 15 nieces and nephews.
Lloyd touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know him and who loved him.
