Lisa Gloria Martinez was born on March 19, 1961 to Rudy and Diane Jurado and received her angel wings on December 12th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the middle child to her older sister Debra and younger brother Michael. Through her years she found life long friends. Her happiness in life came when she started going out with and who would become the love of her life, Noe. Through the years her family grew to five with children Ernie, Jose and Reyna. Her family and friends meant everything to her and more. You would often find her as the life of the party at her niece’s home partying with young and old.
When asking what people should know about her, almost everyone had the same wonderful words about her. Some of those shared are followed - “Despite her outer shell and appearing to be tough all the time, she actually had a big heart and truly cared about people”, “She never let anyone know how much she was suffering. She was so brave”, “She loved her family unconditionally. Now she’s without pain & watching over all of us cussing in front of God if we do something stupid”, “I think what made her happy on her dark days was her peoples and a good home cooked meal” and lastly “She was wise and always had the best advice, no matter the situation. She was very stern and straight to the point with what she would always say”. These are just a small sample of all the wonderful things she was known for.
She loved all things Disney with a special place for Ursula and Tinkerbell (she was always at Disneyland with anyone who was readily available). She loved a good cold Coke and was an amazing cook. She always loved when her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and siblings would come to her dream home and share in laughter and love. Her husband was her life for 45 years and her children were always by her side. To the people she loved she’d give them anything (except her Disney stuff). The best therapist and listener and quite the critic of horror movies. She loved when her hubby and kids would cook for her.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Noe, son Ernie (Krista) of Utah with Leilani, Ava and Violet, son Jose (Stephanie) with Alyssa, Vincent, Benjamin and Elias, daughter Reyna (Joshua) of Oklahoma with Alex, and Honorary son Freddie (Lily). Her mother Diane and siblings Debra and Michael. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and their children that all loved her so dearly. We will all feel the loss of our beloved Lisa.
Family is asking if all guest could wear a pop of color on her behalf preferably not black attire
A funeral mass for Lisa will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 780 S State St, Hemet, CA 92543.
