Linda J. Burcombe

Linda Jean Burcombe, 84 years old.

Linda was one of two born on October 7, 1937. Linda and her sister Glenda were born in Long Beach, California to Maxine and Lester Farrell.

Linda worked and played hard. During that time she met the LOVE OF HER LIFE Peter Alexander Burcombe. They were married on June 29, 1957. Then in 1958 Peter was drafted into the United States Army. That was a very hard time for Linda. She was without her Peter. Thanks to family and friends that helped her through it. Peter returned in August of 1962. Linda was never happier. Then in 1964 her son Michael was born and in 1967 her daughter Laura was born. Linda had the hardest job of all. She was Peter’s Domestic Goddess. She took very good care of her family.

When Linda went to Heaven on June 10, 2022 she was surely met by family members who had passed before her. The love of her life Peter, Sister Glenda, Brother Dennis, Mother Maxine, Father Lester, and Grandparents. However she left behind many loved ones; her son Michael, daughter Laura, six grandchildren Michaela, McKenna, Laruen, Jake, Trenton, and Collin. Plus three Great Grandchildren Winnie, Sonny and Liana. Her sister Sharon, brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, Daughter-in-law , numerous nieces and nephews and let’s not forget all of her loving friends.

Linda loved her family and friends. We are comforted with the knowledge that she has gone to a better place and we will hold her in our hearts until we meet again
