Lawrence Milton Clark was born on January 18, 1920 in Hiawatha, Utah and passed away peacefully on February 22, 2015 at the Healthcare Center in Hemet, CA. He is survived by his devoted wife, Katherine Clark, of 70 years; son, Charles Clark, and daughter Dory Berry; grandchildren, Ben and Sophia Clark; and great-grandchild, Isabella Clark.
He grew up in Somerset, Colorado and later San Francisco, California and Clarkdale, Arizona. Larry went to Clarkdale High School and was a star player in football. His family later moved
to Burbank, CA where he enlisted in the Army Air Force during WWII. He achieved advance flight training and loved flying airplanes of every kind.
Larry married Katherine Rockrich in March 1944 while he was in flight training in Arizona. After the war, they settled down in the Los Angeles area with their two children. He spent 20 years as a manager of health and beauty aids in supermarkets, and retired in 1982.
Larry had a number of interests. He enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles and traveling with the Avion campers. At home, he spent many hours working on crossword puzzles, collecting coins and model cars, playing the organ and watching his favorite teams in football, basketball and baseball on TV.
In lieu of flowers, and for those desiring to do so, honorary contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
