Larry Raymond Hawkins, age 76, went home to the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was born on Monday, September 30, 1946, in Long Beach, California, to Jack and Dorothy Hawkins, where he and his sister, Diana, grew up.
Larry followed in his father’s footsteps and worked in the construction industry for 40 years. Larry was a carpenter, a superintendent on job sites, a contract coordinator for the county of San Bernardino, and retired as a building inspector. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing and camping, especially in Bishop, California.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon, of 39 years; his 4 daughters; Christy, Cindy, Mary Beth, and Amy. Larry was also a devoted step-father to Erik and Daina. He was a very proud grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
