Keith Jabbar Leaton

Keith Jabbar Leaton, known as Bolo to many, has passed away at the age of 53, on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Hemet, California. He was born to Barry Eugene Leaton and Mamie Leaton, on Sunday, March 12, 1972, in Los Angeles, California.

Bolo enjoyed Barbering and his love of Classic Cars and Cooking. His love for his family was immense. Bolo grew up in Compton, CA and attended school there. Bolo moved to Hemet, CA in 2007 and opened his first Barbershop in San Jacinto, CA in 2014.

Bolo was very involved in the local community supporting elementary, middle and high schools youths by volunteering at the schools and sharing his story on how he turned his life around from negative to positive. Bolo also supported the at-risk youth staying in the local group homes by providing the young men with haircuts and encouraging them to get on the right path in life while young.

Bolo leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Mamie Leaton; brother, Chris Leaton; sister-in-law, Donna Leaton; son, Rashaud Miller; grandson Royce Miller; nephews, Tywon Leaton, Cedric Moore, Dedric Moore, and Frank Higgins; nieces, Jakira Leaton and Brittanny Leaton; devoted girlfriend, Keena Martin; and a host of other family members and friends.
