Katheryn "Katie" N. Martin, age 87, of Hemet, CA, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. She was born September 9, 1924 in Cherokee, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Nick Nicholas and the late Margaret (Banister) Nicholas. Katie worked with Harbor Chevrolet for 30 years in the administrative profession. She married Gordon Martin on August 20, 1947 until his passing on May 12, 1999. She lived in Long Beach most of their life until she moved to Hemet in 1987. She love to listen to music, play the organ, and dance. She also enjoyed her dog "Bonnie", but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Katie is survived by her sister in law and her husband Donald & Shirley Neal of Sun City, CA; nieces & nephews Paula Morrison, Dean Neal, Nicki Talman, Brad Martin and many great nieces and nephews.
