Karen Rahn Doran, 67 passed away on Wednesday January 16, 2019, at home after a courageous 8 month battle with cancer. Born in February 1951 in Hemet, California she was the daughter of the late Arnold Rahn and the late Donna Rahn. She spent her childhood in Hemet and as the daughter of a farmer/rancher she had a great love for animals, especially horses. Shortly after the birth of their 1st son in 1975, the family relocated to Medford, Oregon. They welcomed their 2nd son in 1979. The family enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and many other sports. At the same time she enrolled at Southern Oregon University and completed her Master’s degree in Special Education. Karen taught at North Medford High School for 20 years. She moved back “home” to Hemet in 2006 to look after her Dad. She was surrounded by life-long loving friends right up to her last day.
