I thought life was forever
But it wasn’t meant to me.
I’m growing old and tired
“And God is calling me”
I hate to leave my loved ones
For they have shared my pain.
But I’m ready now for Jesus
“I heard him call my name”
I feel His Hand upon me,
He’ll guide me through it all.
In Blessed Peace, He’ll hold me,
“I’m answering His call”
Don’t grieve for me,
My Dear Ones,
For I am now Heaven Blest.
God Knows that I am weary,
“He’s called me home to rest”
