Jessie was a spunky lady. I don't think we ever saw her tired in her life. She was always traveling with her RV camping club. Anytime Jessie had the chance to share her camping stories, it was a treat to us. Jessie was also the last connection we had left to Viola, who was my husband's step-mother. Jessie always made an effort to be part of our family even after Viola's passing. When we celebrated our son's Eagle Court of Honor ceremony, Jessie was in the audience with a huge smile. After Gilbert graduated from high school, Jessie once again was present to cheer him on. Every year, we looked forward to Jessie's Christmas card. She usually had a page long letter sharing her adventures and joys. She was always so excited to share the good news of another great-grandchild. Jessie was a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed. We hope to see you someday.

Richard Wilson purchased the Heavenly Heights Bouquet for the family of Jessie Marie Hansen.

I didn’t know Jessie well but I appreciated her spirit and her support of the Rollin Singles camping group. I am so sorry for your loss.

John and I first met Jessie as we arrived in East Lake as new owners and snowbirds from Canada. We loved catching up with her either in the library, or playing bingo or chatting about RV life and bowling. After we moved from East Lake we were fortunate to catch up with her over a coffee at an RV park where the Rollin Singles happened to be. What a treat!  What made her special was the way she made us feel special. She is cherished and missed.

Another great memory of Jessie is she could play the song The Yellow Rose of Texas like no other person. Call her Sergeant is  when she made Leonard and I get this massive piano out of the basement of her church. We had to stand it on end to get it  up stairs.

My condolences go out to your family. Jessie was one very special lady. I met her 7 years ago when I joined the Rollin' Singles. That first campout I drove in with my class A, she welcomed me and helped me park it. I'll always remember her smile and joy of camping and always talking about her family. I will surely miss her. She was truly one of a kind, lovely lady.

We have known Jessie for 6+ years. We live in East Lake, where Jessie lived. She was always busy doing something for EL. She took care of the Library, Bingo and water exercise in the pool. She was the best and it will be hard to fill her shoes. We loved Jessie!!

I've only known Jessie for a short time and really liked and admired her, so independent  and always happy and smiling. She was so proud of her family and so looking forward to her trip to see her daughter and grandkids. She was a pleasure to be around, Netta Laffitte

Jessie was a great lady.   She kept the  Rollin' Singles RV Group running smoothly.   She was always willing to help with everything.   We are going to really miss her.  It just won't be the same without her.

No one else can truly feel the sorrow that you bear, may it be of help today to know that others care.

What a wonderful person.  I remember her and Apple Pie.  One evening I decided to go play regular Bingo and there she was getting the club house ready.

Fixing the Pies she said Oh Look I got this pie and it has to be cooked.  There was plenty
of  time so while we played bingo there was a wonderful smell of apple pie.

Jessie always reminded me that every time they came to Thunder Hawk to visit us when i was about 6 i would set between Jessie and Leonard when we went for a ride. Jessie and Leonard were our neighbors on Saint Andrew street when Renee and I were going to college. She was an aunt that was always their in time of need. Very positive individual.
