Jerry D. Freeman, 83 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017. He was born on Friday, June 15, 1934 in Tennyson, Texas to the late J.D. and Virginia Freeman. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Tana Freeman; four children, Kirk (Jodi) Freeman, Jerra Powell, Lori Thomas, and Shelli (Darin) Coberly; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Peggy Allred. Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Freeman.
Jerry was an outgoing man who never met a stranger. He loved to be outdoors, especially around water. While he was quite the handy-man, and could work on, or fix, almost anything, Jerry's favorite thing to do was hang out with his friends and enjoy a cold beer. Jerry was a home-body, and was passionate about his family. He was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Services will be held privately by the family.
