Janice Rose Bearden

She was the beloved wife of Graydon Keith Bearden for 61 years.

She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to William K. Moyer and Virginia M. Moyer (DeLong) on September 28, 1928. She moved, along with her family to Sellersville, PA to help her grandparents. Janice graduated from Sellersville-Perkasie High School in June 1946.

Janice was a U.S. Army veteran where she served as a cryptographer from 1950 to 1952.

She was employed by McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft (now Boeing) in Long Beach, California for 25 years. She worked in the aircraft assembly division as a riveter.

Janice was a member of the UAW Retirees Committee, Order of the Eastern Star and Golden Slippers. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and helping these organizations.

She enjoyed travelling around the country after her retirement. Janice liked working on jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. She really enjoyed being a grandma and spending time with her two granddaughters.

Janice is survived by her two sons, David Bruce of Kingman, Arizona, and Keith Alan of Surin, Thailand.

Two granddaughters, Amy Rolph of Murrieta, CA and Ashley Bearden of Wailuku, Hawaii; two sisters, Jean Shannon of Lansdale, PA and Geraldine Scheetz of Sellersville, PA along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Graydon in 2013.

Janice was loved by her family and friends and will be missed.
