Howard Ernest Brasier, age 93, of Long Beach, CA, for 38 years, and a Hemet resident for 26 years. Passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011, at his residence in Long Beach. Howard was born May 3, 1917 in Emporia, Kansas. He was the son of the late Ernest Harry Brasier and the late Clarkie Indella (Jacob) Brasier. He lived in Kansas for 20 years, then went to Iowa. He met his wife to be in Ames and married November 30, 1939. He was inducted in to the Army in 1943 and served in the European Area under General Patton Army. He served our country proudly during WWII. He and his wife moved to Long Beach, California in 1946. He worked in the Long Beach Post office for 27 years. He was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church of which he ushered for many years. They moved to Hemet in 1978. Joined Trinity Lutheran Church and he ushered there as well. His hobbies where woodworking, fixing and repairing things. Howard was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Brasier. He is survived by his sister Mary Lou De Lang, Long Beach, CA and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet , 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
