I want to Thank everyone for your Prayers and Blessings. We will miss Gilbert so much.  He is now with Gramma , Fito and Tia Tichi and all his other loved ones. His family and friends can now begin to heal. We have had him a lifetime and now must allow him to rest.  Rest in peace my brother.

We would like to thank everyone for coming out to my dads funeral event yesterday. It was nice seeing everyone again and meeting the family members that came from my dads side of the family

Tio Gilbert, You will be deeply missed. Thank you for being such a caring brother to my mom. You are loved by many and the beauty of your life will carry on. May you rest in the arms of the Lord. Love you Tio.

It is hard to discuss you.Our hearts are not ready for Good Bye. You were my brother and my family.  It hurts.  My mom loved you so much like a son. Now, she must let you go. We know that Gramma,Fito and Tia Tichi are with you and yet, it hurts.  You were such a young soul .  My Gramma told me days before she passed "Yolanda, I want you to know that Gilbert was a good man and you are to let everyone know.  Gramma may have been feisty but that women loved you as a son. She complained but she said" you took care of her." You came into our lives and refused to give into our  protective ways. You were not leaving Irma. You gave us two beautiful girls to pass on a piece of you.

My heartaches that we will no longer see you here on earth Gilbert.  We will miss your smile, your humor, your contagious laugh, your kindness, and caring heart.  You were truly an amazing and hard working family man that provided the best for Irma, Ashley and Donay. Never selfish and never complained. It is obvious that GOD opened his arms wide open and accepted you in heaven for everlasting life. Gilbert it is time for you to rest in peace, yet knowing you, your working and doing for others like you always did.  Rest in peace Gilbert. You know that we will always look after Irma, Ashley, Donay, Nayely, baby Michael, Adan, Arely, and Angel.  GOD BLESS YOU!!!!! Until we meet again in heaven.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Gilbert Ramirez. Let me share my earliest memories of my younger brother Gilbert and I growing up. We both had a stuttering problem in elementary school and our class mates would make fun us because of this but we always ignored the remarks. It did hurt our feelings but it made us stronger and want to succeed more. We both grew out of our stuttering and became more confident in ourselves. We persevered from this and that lead us to graduating from High School and earning our Diplomas. Brother, you built your own family that loves you and saw you as the caring and loving person that I saw in you growing up. I Love You Brother.

My Beloved Brother Gilbert, you will truly be missed. How well I do remember all the special times we had as we were raised side by side. We always did everything together as brothers and sisters. The best memories are now treasures. I will treasure all the times we all played hide & seek, basketball, baseball, marbles, and fishing catching big fish. I remember when you lived with me, you had a green Volkswagen and the only way it would start if we pushed it to get it going. I will cherish every moment we had in this life. Thank you for being a good brother to me, may your journey start to everlasting life in the beauty of God's Heaven, where the best is yet to be. So I will say to you that I will see you later, my brother. I love you, your older sister Peewee. My sincerest condolences to Irma and the whole family.

It is difficult to say "Goodbye".  It hurts so much to know that your no longer here. You have been in our lives for over 30 yrs.  We have gone through the highs and lows as a family part of the family.  You were a father, uncle and friend ,too many.  You made a big impact on the kids that you helped raise.You worked so hard to provide for your family and asked for so little. But,You were a handful. You really knew how to get us going. You loved to get under our skin and laugh at our reactions. You loved to show off your basketball skills and building skills. You were " G".  Thank you for the love and support that you gave your loved ones.  Your memories will be in our hearts. You can rest now.

My heart is broken to know that you are gone.. Time goes by so fast, the last time I saw you was at my wedding 23 years ago. I know it wasn't your choice to stay away but God knows that we always thought of you. Thank you for being that kind hearted sweet uncle that you always were. My brother, whom I cherished so much, gone too soon. Brother you were loved by many people, I know my heart aches for you. Brother you accomplished many obstacles in life. I believed in you, we had good childhood memories. I will always remember you of the kind brother you were to me and my children. Your wonderful mom is waiting for you with open arm's waiting for you brother. You can now get to know each other again in heaven. My condolences to Irma and her family. My heart hurts that my Father no longer is here with us anymore! But I know that he was very tired, but I will always want him here with me and my family for there where many unfinished trips, adventures, and time to watch his grandchildren grow into adults. I cherish all of the memories like when we would go to Oceanside to fish with the whole family even though we hardly ever caught anything even so the time spent was perfect! Another memory is playing catch with him on the Cul-de-sack. One of the best memories we all would do is going to the drive in movie theatre and always taking Antonio's pizza. I will forever have a empty space in my heart for my dad, but I know someday we will reunite but until then I will always share my dads story with his grandchildren.

I remember when I was growing up, Tio Gilbert went to my grandparents house in Mendota, ca and we were all excited. The whole entire family gathered and we had so many laughs and memories were made that day. I remember climbing into his truck and tio Gilbert was telling me what everything was and how it worked. A few years later when my family lived in Fresno, Ca; tio gilbert visited us again and we made dinner and caught up on our family and how his family was doing. I remember tio trying to convince me to become a truck driver and how fun it was. My mom and my tio were sharing memories of when they grew up, going camping, fishing, their trips to the beaches and how they had a great bond growing up. I will always remember my tio as the one from Hemet that always kept in touch and asking about my mom and how their kids were. We loved getting his letter that my mom read to us. There was a time when I was younger, my mom took us to go visit my tio in Hemet, Ca and she used a paper that had a lot of writing on it and she made a lot of stops to look at a map (prior to GPS Navigating Services). I remember looking outside a window and there was a playground set in the distance bottom with fog and it being surrounded with a puddle of water. That was when I was like 5 or 6 years of age. I will always remember the laughter of my uncle and laughs of my family. My mom always spoke of my tio and always reminded us that just because he doesn't come and visit, he always asks about us. Love you Tio Gilbert. May you rest in peace and watch over your family.
