Fernando Vilchis

Fernando Vilchis Jr. passed away at the age of 69, on Friday, February 26, 2021, in VA Loma Linda, California. He was born to Fernando Sr. and Manuela (Espino) Vilchis, on Thursday, November 8, 1951, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and was one of 6 children.

After completing high school, he married his best friend, and joined the U.S. Army, and proudly served for 3 years. Fernando was an exceptional husband and dedicated father. He was married for 50 wonderful years to the love of his life, Evangelina Vilchis. God blessed them with three amazing children that would later make Fernando a grandfather and a great-grandfather as well. Fernando enjoyed spending all of his time with his family. He was hardworking and a strong, honorable man who served as a pillar of strength for others. His love for his family was immeasurable.

His loving wife, Evangelina Vilchis, survive Fernando; his children, Evangelina, Fernando III, and Jose; his grandchildren, Devanay, Andrew, Trinity, and Noah; his great-granddaughter, Lennay; and his siblings, Vicky, Tony, Joe, Victor, Manuel, Jose, Daniel, Albert, Alma, Carmen, Olga, and Elsa. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Erik Todd; and his brother, Juan.

A visitation and services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92543.
