Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Murrieta, California; she was born on April 15, 1923 in Stillwater, Minnesota to the late G. Lyman and Ida (Kelm) Sutton.
Eileen kept very active in her retirement years after being a teacher. She was a member of the St. Vincent Ferrer Ladies Guild, Delta Theta Chi Sorority-California Nu Chapter, Sun City Swim Club, Wii Bowling, Sun City Good Time Club and the Sun City Garden Club. She also was active in the Sun City Civic Association and actively participated in the Menifee City Council meetings.
She is survived by her children, Edwin (Karen) Parnell of Idaho, Alan (Kathy) Parnell of Arizona, Mary (Karl) Zalazowski of Salinas, California and Tim Parnell of Menifee, California; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Eileen will be laid to rest with her husband Edwin Parnell at Riverside National Cemetery.
