Catherine Mary Meineke

Cathy was a resident of Lake Elsinore, California for 57 years. She was united in marriage to Mel Meineke, on April 23, 1955. She retired from the Lake Elsinore Unified School District in 1997 after twenty years of service.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Mel; her children, Brian, Scott, Greg and Pam Meineke; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Josephine Kobs.

Cathy was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Meineke, and her brother, John Strel.

A Rosary will be held Friday, August 21 at 10 am at St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church at 21591 Lemon Street in Wildomar. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 24th at the Lake Elsinore Elks Lodge located at 33700 Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore at 11 am. All are welcome to attend.
