May 26th, 1930, in Truro Massachusetts, Betty Joan Snow was born to Lucia, and Clayton Snow. She was the first of five children, 4 sisters, and a brother. They resided in the Truro and Boston areas, where Betty spent her childhood years and attended school. She married Charles R. Flagg in 1948, and they welcomed their first child, Carol Jean in 1949, John in 1951, and David Flagg in 1960. When they divorced, Betty and David traveled to California in 1973, where they settled, and she worked in the insurance business. She was involved in Sweet Adalines, and loved being a part of the Sierra Club.
She enjoyed camping. She met Carl at a Singles Campout. They fell in love, and were married in April, 1992.
Carl and Betty retired, and traveled through the United States in their R.V. for 14 years and made several trips to Europe.
After their travels, and settling in Hemet they became members of the First Presbyterian Church, where they loved being part of a church family. They were Deacons, and enjoyed being part of the choir.
Carl went home to the Lord on Feb 17th, 2022, and Betty, after a brief illness followed Carl home on January 10th, 2023.
Service is to be held on February 11, 2023 at 11 am, at the First Presbyterian Church. 515 E Kimball Ave, Hemet, CA 92543
