Agnes J. Mika

Agnes J. Mika 90, died on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona. She was born to Mikal and Gunda (Murvold) Rindal on July 12, 1923 in Eau Claire, WI. Agnes lived in Hayward, WI from 1959 until 1999. She owned and operated the Hotel and Bar on Dakota Ave, from 1959 until 1965. Agnes married George Mika in Hayward, WI. She was a member of the Hayward VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7233. After she moved back to Eau Claire she became a member of the Lutheran Good Shepherd Church in Eau Claire. She is survived by two sisters; Lorraine (Harry) Shay, and Signe (Lloyd) Champion, two step children, George Jr (Joan) Mika and Mary (Alan) Fagerli, three step grandchildren, Fred, Anna and Christopher; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ellen Semingson and Marion Schlewitz, three brothers, Palmer, Lloyd and Richard Rindal, a husband, George T. Mika and a step daughter, Linda. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. . Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward, WI.
