Born on February 2, 1935 in Brooklyn, he was raised in Mahopac and Manhattan.
Died peacefully, at the age of 88, on Sept. 9th, 2023. Marvin was a dedicated & loving husband of 63 years to Ellen, doting father to Leslie, father-in-law to Mark, and a devoted grandfather to Mitchell. He was predeceased by parents Abraham and Elizabeth Perlman, sisters Sylvia & Irene, as well as a brother Stuart. Marvin earned his degree from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, and lead a vibrant career in the textiles and sales industry.
Marvin and his family lived in Rye Brook for sixty years, prior to his recent move to Riverdale to be closer to his kids. Marvin had a great love for cars, horses, food, and family and most of all Marvin will remembered for his sense of humor.
Marvin will be sorely missed.
A graveside service for Marvin will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10595.
