Alice Koenig

Alice Susan Koenig of Scarsdale passed away on May 24th, 2023, at White Plains Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of Eva and David Seidman, and predeceased by her loving husband, Marvin Koenig. Alice graduated from City College and earned credits towards her Masters in Education there.

She had a passion for music and was a gifted piano player. She even had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall, showcasing her extraordinary talent. But above all, she treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and joy. She was truly the best parent/grandparent a child could have ever had. Alice is survived by her son, Scott Koenig, her daughter Kimberly Koenig, and survived by her brother Jerome Seidman, and her five adoring grandchildren.

To honor Alice's memory, a funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 28th, at Riverside Memorial Chapel located at 21 Broad Street W 10552, at 11:30 a.m. Following the service friends and family are invited to gather at Alice's residence at 37 Penn Blvd. Scarsdale NY 10583. A Shiva will be held at Alice's home on the following days:

Monday, May 29th – 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, May 30th – 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In memory of Alice Koenig, donations are greatly appreciated to Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation (KCCF). This foundation was started and led by Alice's 14-year-old granddaughter and cancer survivor, Elana Koenig, in 2020.
