My condolences to Alan's family. We knew each other as residents of Chappaqua and former colleagues at KPMG/BearingPoint.  He was a really good man. May your memories of happy times sustain you.

I was so sad to hear of Alan's passing. We just saw one another in January at the diner. I have know Alan more than 20 years in a professional capacity. He always kept up with me and was so generous with his time. I will be thinking of him and his family and I am terrible sorry for your loss.

My coworker Steve is always such a ray of sunshine and this was the one time I saw him cry. He always talked about how much he loved his family especially his brother. My condolences to the Work family.

Alan had a way of making you feel comfortable and welcome any time we were together.  Even though I saw  Alan infreqently over the years he had that wonderful smile and wonderful positive funny way that made him Alan.  My sincere sympathy for the work family.

Alan,  my dear friend, we have known each other for over 30 years and  it was with great sadness to learn of your passing.   We were  business associates that turned into a real friendship lasting all this time.  Our birthdays are on the same day January 16th, making our relationship extra special.     Our shared birthdays brought us together celebrating each other's journey through life as another year passes.  It is during these times, we shared  what's going on in our lives and the lives of our families.  

So....All I can say is, Alan...you've been  an incredibly good friend all these years.   I never said it to you in these words, but I loved you deeply as my friend and my heart is aching at the thought of losing you.   I can't imagine the sorrow and grief your family must be going through right now, but I know they will surely be comforted by the outpouring of love from your many friends and family.

Alan, my dear friend....I know your light will surely continue  to shine through the lives you touched.  As I say goodbye to you,  I will leave you with this prayer, words spoken by our people at times like this:

Alan, you will always hold a very ,very special place in my heart. You were my  first nephew to be born and you made me a very famous person on President Street  in Brooklyn. It was a week before my eighth birthday when you were born. I was the youngest aunt! Oh how I loved you and I loved sleeping at your parents home every weekend taking care of you as an infant and a toddler and a young boy, I treasure all those memories always .You grew up to be a very fine man, a wonderful husband and father and son. You always stayed close with your extended family celebrating their mitzvahs as well as their losses. you will always be in my heart forever. I love you.     Aunt Ilysa

Alan, I know you are now with both God and your mother. I know Lila is real proud of what you accomplished in life as a loving parent to your children, a brother to your siblings, a good friend and cousin, and a doting husband to your wife. You will be missed by all who care about you. I hope you now have found peace. Thank you for all the memories. We all love you and will remember you with fondness. The Work/Levy family will have you in our thoughts and prayers , always.

My cousin Alan will hold a special place in my heart. Alan cared. Alan made an effort. Alan showed up for you.  When my oldest daughter was diagnosed at age 4 with Type 1, Alan called me immediately. He told me if I needed a great doctor he knew one in the city and would help me connect. (things you don't forget) When my husband was out of work for a short time, Alan did what he could to help him.  Alan ALWAYS texted on my birthday AND my kids birthdays!  For all THREE of my kids Mitzvahs, Alan was there! And we don't live super close!  It was so appreciated and will always mean a lot to me that he shared in those important and special days in my life!

My Cousin Alan has always been a huge inspiration to me as someone who was so successful professionally but also with his family and all his extended family.   He would always email or text me on my birthday.  I specifically remember one time there was a Jets Vikings Monday Night game and we met up at the new stadium the first year it opened.  I was always excited when I got to see him!   He is dearly missed but I know his memory will live on with me and all of our family forever.
