Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born on April 17, 1928 in Union City, TN. She passed away on March 12, 2015 at Heritage Manor in Bossier City, LA. She was a long-time member of Central Assembly of God. Wilma was known as “The QVC Queen” because she enjoyed wearing “bling-bling”. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, and working in her flower beds.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Nellie Davis; husband, Thomas B. Clark, daughter, Toni Bullock; sister, Betty Gersten; and brothers, James Davis, Jr. and Charles Davis.
She is survived by her children: James Clark and wife Charlotte, Ronny Clark and wife Cheryl all of Haughton, LA ,Kenneth Clark and wife Sabrina of Tullos, LA, and Cathy Hollis and husband Sammy of Baton Rouge, LA ; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Ronny Clark, Jr., Chris Clark, Timmy Clark, James Clark, Jr. Sam Hollis, Jr. and Tommy Hollis.
The family would like to extend thanks to the Promise Hospital, Heritage Manor and Amedisys Hospice and a special thanks to Crystal and Patti for being by her side at her time of passing.
