Walter Ray Vinson

Funeral services for Ray Vinson, 84, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 23, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dale Oden and Rev. Calvin Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Mr. Vinson passed away December 20, 2010 in Bossier City. He was a retired Bus Driver for Contnental Trailways with forty-years of service, a member of the Barksdale

Baptist Church, and a resident of Bossier City.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years, June Vinson; children, Karan Patterson of Shreveport, LA; Kevin Vinson of Bossier City, LA; Margaret Ann Phillips, and A.Ray Vinson and wife Quincy all of Pollock, LA; brother, Jesse Vinson and wife Wanda of Birmingham, AL; sister-in-law, Lorene Vinson of Monroe, LA; sister-in-law Pauline McLendon and husband Jimmie; granddaughter, Samantha Patterson; Great-Granddaughter, Jadien Patterson; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Agape' Hospice, Dana, Jennifer, Mark, adn Chaplain Larry Bass, for their kind devoted care.
