Walter Williamson Gray was born on Monday, September 18, 1944 to the proud parents, Ruby and James Gray, in Emerson, AR.
He grew up on a farm in Arkansas and went on to play high school basketball for the Springhill Lumberjacks. He loved NASCAR, but more than anything he loved his high school sweetheart and wife of more than 56 years. He was a hard working machinist, provider, and always put his family first. His witticism and wisdom will be greatly missed.
