Known not only for his culinary talents, he was an avid gardener known for his eternal green thumb and a guy who always had one of the best vegetable gardens around, highlighted by the tastiest of tomatoes. He also had a passion for Bonsai and had some of the most beautiful Bonsai trees in the Ark-La-Tex. He was a staunch Saints fan and he and Debbie made many trips to New Orleans to enjoy the games with friends and family. He was also a great fan of Indy League Racing and was able to fulfill one of his dreams this past May of riding in one of the Indy cars at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He will always be remembered as an amazing, strong husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who was taken from our lives too soon.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Alice Shields.
