Services celebrating the life of Thomas Michael Wilson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. John Harp. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be begin receiving guests on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel at the funeral home.
Thomas entered into his eternal rest following a lengthy illness. Thomas was born on September 07, 1950 in Texarkana, TX. He graduated from High School from Northwood High in Shreveport LA. He graduated from Louisiana Tech as a Chemical Engineer and he started his career at Freeport Sulphur Company in Port Sulphur, LA. Later he worked for Freeport McMoran and finally retired from MOSAIC in 2012 in Louisiana. Thomas enjoyed camping, water skiing, horse back riding, and spending time with family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Marshal Wilson and Betty Jean Moore Wilson and one brother, Robert Alan Wilson. He leaves behind his cherished daughters, Andi Wilson Johnson and Lori Wilson; his grandchildren, Dylan Ren and Pandora Elan; his sisters, Susan Wilson Chapman and Karen Wilson Bison; his brother Terry Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews, Katie and David Wilson, Joshua Evans and Heather Harris, Rob and Ryan Chapman, and David Bison and his forever family, Sherry Albarado Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Rob Chapman, Ryan Chapman, David Wilson, Joshua Evans, Kenneth Winterowd, Guy DeMarais, and David Bison as an honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers and nurses at The Landing at Watercrest Assisted Living Facility in Pearland, TX for the comfort and care shown to our beloved Tom. Also, many thanks to the caregivers and nurses at Vantage Hospice for their skilled care in the brief time before his passing. Tom’s family extends their utmost appreciation for the professionalism and love given to Tom in his lengthy illness and you all will be forever remembered. Many thanks.
