Thomas W. Elwell

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Thomas Warren Elwell, 73, of Bossier City went to be with his loving wife, Carol on February 14th, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 19th, 2016 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18th, 2016 from 6 – 8 P.M.

He was born in Bridgeton, NJ on June 15th, 1942. Thomas graduated from Southern Illinois University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Thomas married Carol Pickerine on January 27th, 1968. After Vietnam, Thomas served his country with the United States Air Force for 22 years and retired as a CMSGT.

Thomas is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Elwell.

Left to carry on his memory, are his sons, Loren T. Elwell and Jason T. Elwell and wife Sheri; grandchildren, Payton M. Elwell, Robert T. Elwell, Shelby J. Elwell, and Anastasia L. Elwell; sisters, Linda Dickerson, and husband Donnie, Betty Cessna and husband Albert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
